Gregory A. Kemp, CPA®, PFS® Chief Executive Officer & Founding Member As CEO and founding member of Vantage Advisors, Greg's primary responsibilities include advanced planning, client advocacy, and managing our client relationships.
Prior to founding Vantage, he was founder and managing partner of a large regional CPA® firm. He also worked with Beneficial Financial Group.
Greg holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Weber State University. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA®) and a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS®), a specialty designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA®), awarded exclusively to CPAs who have proven their expertise in personal financial planning. He has received numerous service awards over the years.
He is an active member of the Utah Association of CPAs, the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA®), was on the Utah State Governor's Advisory Council on Audit Standards, and was a nominee for the Small Business Administration's “Advocate of the Year.”
An active member of the local community, Greg has served as an officer and director of several service organizations in the St. George Area, and as Mayor of his community. He also serves as Capital Campaign Chair and Trustee for The Foundation at Dixie Regional Medical Center, helping to raise $35 million for the facility, a sponsor of the center's Jubilee of Trees charity event, and co-founder of the St. George Marathon.
Greg is married and is the proud father of eight children and 20 grandchildren. His hobbies include his ranch, horses, golf, and travel.
